In just over 2 years ATPP has instructed over 800 players on the finer points of pickleball. From beginners to 4.0 level players, our certified instructors have the skills to not only teach the game, but to also make it a fun and productive experience.
Our clinics at Hampton Bays High School on the weekends have become a ritual for players looking to improve. Private and semi-private lessons and on-site lessons are always available.
All our instructors have received certification to teach pickleball from the IPTPA, the industry leader for the certification of teaching professionals. Most of our instructors are Level 2 certified and founder Scott Green has 2 separate certifications from PPR and IPTPA.
ATPP has also organized and run some of the most successful tournaments in the Northeast. 2 sold out events (290 players) in Albany New York, and several on Long Island, along with high-end corporate events and fabulous Hamptons private parties, have placed us in a unique position on Long Island as a leader in the Pickleball industry.
This summer will see Scott as the director of the first indoor pickleball facility on the Eastern End of Long Island, Box Pickleball in Riverhead, New York. ATPP will also be responsible for all clinics, lessons, tournaments, and special events.
Exciting times are coming to the east end of Long Island and Around the Post Pickleball is ready to lead the way.

Welcome to Around the Post Pickleball – The Hamptons Leader in all things Pickleball.
In just over 18 months, Around the Post Pickleball has held 4 very successful tournaments, taught over 700 players with our clinics or lessons, held several corporate events and even went into the court lining business to offer clients with hard surface tennis courts the chance to play pickleball on their own courts.
We also offer on-site lessons and clinics. And if a pickleball party is something you’d like to hold for your family, friends or clients we can make that happen too!
We’ve been featured in various local print media, such as Dans Papers, The Southampton Press, Riverhead Free Press and we currently write a monthly column on pickleball for the Southampton News Group.
We are also thrilled to tell you the ATPP will be involved with the new indoor facility, Peconic Pickleball in Riverhead N.Y. this coming fall.
All of our instructors are certified teaching pros. We have taken the time to learn the techniques and simple strategies of pickleball and translate our knowledge to players of all levels. Our top 4 instructors have over 20 years of playing experience.
